Port Washington Ghost Walk

The special Halloween edition of the Port Washington Ghost Walk explores the strange, fascinating, occasionally funny and sometimes downright creepy firsthand experiences shared with us by Port Washington residents, local business owners, guests and members of our own team. At Halloween, we dig deeper into the people, places and experiences behind the stories and perhaps give guests a chance to join in the investigation. AT HALLOWEEN, WE DIG DEEPER
Not just what happened, but who it happened to. What did they believe before? Did it happen again? Did it happen to others? And, because we’re curious too, sometimes we put on our Scooby-Doo hats and try to figure it out. Sometimes there’s a perfectly ordinary answer. Sometimes there isn’t.

YOUR EVENING BEGINS WITH A GUIDED GHOST WALK through downtown Port Washington. We’ll take you to the places where people actually experienced these things and tell you the stories behind them.

AND THEN, WE’LL TURN YOU LOOSE.

Armed with a map, you’ll follow a journey we’ve devised through downtown Port Washington, meeting Caper Company investigators and storytellers along the way who take you closer to what happened there. You’ll hear what we’ve experienced, learn how paranormal investigators actually investigate and, at one very special location, get a chance to join in.
Where the evening goes from there …. well, that’s why we do this.

Ghost walks depart every 30 minutes from 6:30–9:00 PM both nights. Minimum age 13 • Space is limited.
