Making the Most of the Festival
We know you want to squeeze out all the season's best. Here are our best tips:
- Take advantage of the FREE shuttle that will head downtown! It's easy, free and loops throughout the festival.
- Shop the Harvest Farmers Market as you arrive for the season's best produce, baked goods, and more! Try guessing the pumpkin's weight to win a prize.
- Don't miss the FREE pumpkin decorating and caricatures in the Family Zone. Plus, meet the rescue animals of LARRS. The turtle is a fan favorite!
- For a shady escape, head to the Car Show on Pier Street. In addition to seriously cool vehicles, the tree-lined street adds a fun pop of color AND shade to the event.
- Fall festival flavors are everywhere. Grab smaller bites to try more street eats. If you need a place to sit down, the sponsor tent has you covered! Harbor Homes graciously provides tables to take a rest.
- This festival is great for music lovers! Conscious Pilot is playing the North Stage at 1:30 PM. Fans rave about their renditions of classic rock favorites. For country fans, Shotgun Jane is headlining the South Stage also at 1:30 PM. Their country rock playlist will keep you partying all afternoon long!
- While you're here, and only steps from Lake Michigan, walk the half block over on Main Street to fire sculpture at Heart of the Harbor for a warm up, great marina views, and a photo op at the new vintage postcard welcome sign on the harborside.
